THE CORNER STORE HAD MANY DIFFERENT OWNERS UP UNTIL THE 1980S, WHEN IT BECAME A BAR, A RESTAURANT, AND EVENTUALLY ORPHIC GALLERY. OPENED IN 2010 BY PHILLIP LENIHAN, A CLASSICS SCHOLAR AND IMPRESARIO, ORPHIC AND ITS OFFSHOOT, THE 8-TRACK MUSEUM, SPECIALIZED IN MUSIC-RELATED ART AND MUSIC HISTORY UNTIL PHIL'S UNTIMELY DEATH IN 2014. THE BUILDING SAT EMPTY FOR FOUR YEARS UNTIL ITS 2018 REOPENING AS LIBERAL ARTS ROXBURY.
